Noise from club music and barking dogs creates a restless atmosphere at night. The rain shower sprays water unpredictably. I encountered a jacuzzi tub with unappealing yellow water. Disruptive noises hit around 5 a.m., affecting sleep quality. Breakfast coffee often served cold due to power issues.

Disappointing jacuzzi experience

I had a very special stay. I stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel was unique, with quiet and best possible location right by tourist area as well as Kathmandu, Nepal. Staff was super very efficient and fabulously helpful. I appreciated the rooftop restaurant. The private parking was onsite, excellent service.

I will definitely go back there again, thoroughly enjoyed its location, no reason to complain. Efficient staff, magnificent views of the town, everything is outstanding. Rooftop restaurant on the premises is fabulous.

The location in Thamel is unbeatable. I loved the breakfast buffet. Each day had different delicious options, keeping our mornings exciting. The staff went the extra mile, arranged our luggage while we trekked and even assisting with bookings in fluent English. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a cozy sitting area. The noise could be bothersome at times. The sounds from the street were particularly loud outside my room on the first floor, with vehicles and chatter making it tricky to relax. The rain shower didn't perform well, spraying water in unexpected directions. Though some amenities like the rooftop hot tub were out of service, the inviting Marpha Bar made up for it with a great atmosphere. The combination of service, food, and location were great, despite the noise issues.

I encountered a significant downside, there was a persistent noise early in the morning that disrupted my sleep quality, affecting my overall comfort .

Hidden gem in Thamel!

Super impressed with this place! The staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast had so much variety, loved the fresh fruit! The rooftop was great, even though it got a bit windy sometimes. Only thing was the room could use some soundproofing, I could hear street noise at night.

Perfect for a relaxing getaway

I had an really good breakfast every morning. It was honestly the best I've seen in over a month. The staff were courteous, they even helped me get bus tickets and a local driver for sightseeing!

Though it wasn't necessarily inexpensive, I found it acceptable for what they offered.
